Windows 3.1 build 47 is mentioned in a series of Microsoft e-mails from September 19th, 1991.
The document discusses an issue with DR-DOS 6.0, this version of Microsoft Windows 3.1 and SmartDrive (codenamed Bambi) when using the DIR command, resulting in invalid characters on screen. In addition, running CHKDSK found more than 100 files with errors; namely cross-linked files, invalid clusters, and invalid and incorrect lengths.
