S.T.A.L.K.E.R. build 1154 is the first build of S.T.A.L.K.E.R. that contains usable vehicles. It consists of 2 maps that can be played with or with out enemies or a car.

Controls

The controls style is the same as most other FPS games. Using WASD for movement and the mouse for looking around and firing your gun.

  • F1, F2 and F3 change camera views
  • F12 Screenshot
  • +, - Zoom camera in and out

Car controls

  • P makes the car fly up
  • directional keys change your view

Console Commands

These commands can be entered into the in-game console by pushing the ~ key or by editing the user.ltx file with a text editor. Many more commands can be found in by typing help in the console and using the page up/down keys.

If you mess up your user.ltx file then you can just delete it and the game will create a new one when the game is next launched

To create a game the host must run one of the required batch files such as level1_demo_empty.bat. The client then has to launch the XR_3DA.exe and when it loads type in client <ip>. If you are lucky then it will connect and you can play, however it is likely to crash.
