The Professional Developers Conference 2008 (PDC 2008) was an event hosted by Microsoft from 27 to 30 October 2008. During this PDC, Microsoft publicly unveiled Windows 7 and Windows Server 2008 R2 (distributing build 6801 to attendees), as well as announced Windows Azure (Azure Services Platform).
