Microsoft Office 2004 is another version or Microsoft Office developed for the Macintosh operating system. Office 2004 was released May 11, 2004, and was originally written for PowerPCs. It sucessor is Microsoft Office 2008. Office 2004 had three editions: Standard, Professional, and Student and Teacher. Office 2004 Student and Teacher Edition can't be upgraded, which means when the later version of Office is released, people who purchased the Student and Teacher edition must buy a new package to use Office.
