Microsoft Office 2004 is a version of Microsoft Office developed for the Macintosh operating system. It was released on May 11, 2004, and was originally written for PowerPCs. Its sucessor is Microsoft Office 2008.

Office 2004 had three editions: Standard, Professional, and Student and Teacher. The Student and Teacher Edition can't be upgraded, which means when the later version of Office is released, people who purchased the Student and Teacher edition must buy a new package to use Office.
