SYMPTOMS

In Microsoft Office Live Meeting 2007, you must enter an E.164-compliant telephone number in the Enter a phone number dialog box for audio integration to make a call.

RESOLUTION

To resolve this problem, apply hotfix 943085.

After you apply this hotfix, Live Meeting clients can make a call by entering an internal dialing plan number that is up to seven digits long in the Phone Number box in the Enter a phone number dialog box.

To enable internal dialing plans, you can apply hotfix 943085 to Live Meeting clients that do not have the direct inward dial (DID) system.

Hotfix 943085 changes the Enter a phone number dialog box. This change enables internal dialing plans for audio integration among the following items:

  • Microsoft Office Communications Server 2007
  • Live Meeting 2007
  • The audio conferencing provider

Hotfix 943085 is included in release version 8.0.6362.28 of the Live Meeting client. This release version replaces the previous release version of the Live Meeting client.
