SYMPTOMS

When you use annotation tools that change the mouse pointer in the Windows-based Microsoft Office Live Meeting 2007 client, the Live Meeting 2007 client stops responding.

For example, when you use the Highlighter tool or the Freehand tool after you use the Stamp tool, the Highlighter tool or the Freehand tool may appear to draw on the whiteboard even though you do not click the mouse button. Additionally, the Live Meeting 2007 client may stop responding.

CAUSE

This problem occurs because of a second-chance access violation in the Pwconsole.exe process.

RESOLUTION

To resolve this problem, install the Windows-based Live Meeting 2007 client update package that is dated December 17, 2007. For more information, click the following article number to view the article in the Microsoft Knowledge Base:
