APPLIES TO

  • Microsoft Dynamics CRM 3.0, when used with:
    • Microsoft CRM client for Microsoft Office Outlook

The hotfix that is discussed in this article is not available for the Chinese version of Microsoft Dynamics CRM or for the Japanese version of Microsoft Dynamics CRM.

SYMPTOMS

When you go offline in the Microsoft Dynamics CRM laptop client for Microsoft Office Outlook, all the records in the OrganizationUI entity are unexpectedly synchronized. The records are synchronized from the Microsoft Dynamics CRM 3.0 server to the local database for the Microsoft Dynamics CRM laptop client for Outlook. The records in the OrganizationUI entity contain the following information:

  • Information about the current user-interface configuration
  • Information about the current version
  • Information about all the earlier versions that were imported

Therefore, you may experience slow performance when you go offline because all the information in the records is synchronized to the local database. Additionally, the local database stores some data that is not required.

You expect the customizations that are currently published to be transferred to the local database.
