SYMPTOMS
When you import an image to Microsoft Expression Design or after you apply a live effect to an image in Expression Design, the image appears distorted. For example, the image appears grainy or pixelized.
CAUSE
This problem occurs because the zoom level of the image is set too high. Although the image may appear distorted on the screen, the actual quality of the image remains unchanged.
RESOLUTION
To resolve this problem, set the value of the zoom level drop-down box to Actual Pixels.
