The hotfix that is discussed in this article is not available for the Chinese version of Microsoft Dynamics CRM or for the Japanese version of Microsoft Dynamics CRM.
SYMPTOMS
In Microsoft Dynamics CRM 3.0 laptop client for Microsoft Office Outlook, you run the Go Online process, or you run the Go Offline process. After you do this, the buttons on the Microsoft Dynamics CRM toolbar stop responding. Or, the menus on the Microsoft Dynamics CRM menu bar stop responding.
This problem occurs if you add an external command to the Microsoft Dynamics CRM menu bar.
RESOLUTION

A supported hotfix is now available from Microsoft. However, this hotfix is intended to correct only the problem that is described in this article. Apply this hotfix only to systems that are experiencing this specific problem. This hotfix might receive additional testing. Therefore, if you are not severely affected by this problem, we recommend that you wait for the next Microsoft Dynamics CRM 3.0 update rollup that contains this hotfix.

System administrators can use the Spuninst.exe tool to remove this hotfix from a computer that is running Windows Server 2003, Windows XP, or Windows 2000.
