INTRODUCTION
A hotfix rollup package (build 6.3. 2212) is available for ProClarity Analytics Server 6.3. This hotfix rollup package adds some features to Analytics Server 6.3 and fixes some issues in Analytics Server 6.3.

Important notes about this hotfix rollup package
- We recommend that you back up the existing components in Analytics Server 6.3 before you install this hotfix rollup package.
- You cannot remove this hotfix rollup package unless you also remove Analytics Server 6.3. To remove this hotfix rollup package, you must remove the whole Analytics Server application.
- When you install this hotfix rollup package, Internet Information Services (IIS) restarts.
Features that this hotfix rollup package adds
This hotfix rollup package adds the following features:
- Performance Point Server has integrated the PDefaultPage.asp file to redirect location users to the correct location pages.
- The correct version number appears in the lower-left corner of the Analytics Server standard client.
Note The last feature is also included in build 6.3.2211.
Issues that this hotfix rollup package fixes
This hotfix rollup package fixes the following issues:
- Charts that contain a value of infinity may cause high CPU usage in IIS.
- When you view the My Views page, the word library in the Japanese version displays vertically instead of horizontally.
- The MDStore record is not created when you add a view to the My Views page.
Note These three issues are also fixed in build 6.3.2211.
- Unicode uppercase characters are incorrectly encoded in ProClarity Web Standard.
- When you try to export a split view to Microsoft Excel in Web Standard two times, you receive an "HTTP 500" error page the second time.
- The customized background color of a grid header does not appear in Web Standard.
- When you try to retrieve a book, you receive an "Unspecified Error" warning message in ProClarity Desktop Professional. Or, you receive an "XML document must have a top level element" error page in the Analytics Server Administration Tool.
- When you print a whole book in Web Standard, the customized grid formatting in the printed results is incorrect. The incorrect formatting includes background colors.
- ProClarity Dashboard incorrectly interprets a key performance indicator (KPI) status range if the value uses a comma as a decimal separator.
- The default navigation user preference for the "expand/collapse" behavior does not appear in Dashboard.
- A view that is added to the My Views folder is unexpectedly removed after you save the view multiple times by using the same name.
- When you run a query in Microsoft SQL Server Analysis Services, the query takes a long time if multiple parameters are specified. Additionally, the query may time out in IIS.
- The Svchost.exe process that hosts the World Wide Web service (W3SVC) consumes lots of memory. This behavior occurs when users use Web Standard views that contain parameters in Dashboard.
- Excel does not recognize the currency cell format when you export currency data that is not of the U.S. locale.
- After you minimize the SharePoint Web part, IIS stops unexpectedly when you update a view that contains a chart.
- ProClarity for Reporting Services displays an error when you try to access the link to the Analytics Server page that is generated during the export process.
- When you add a new view to the My Views folder, you are redirected from the Analytics Server page to the My Views page of the new view.
- When you use the "Drill to Detail" feature to drill to details on more than 3,000 records, the Get all rows view is empty. Additionally, the "Drill to Detail" feature runs much more slowly in Analytics Server than in Desktop Professional.
- In Analytics Server, the Standard Edit Dimension dialog box displays the members of a set instead of the name of the set.
- The print preview feature of Analytics Server does not work if the total width of the columns of a view is larger than the paper width.
