- Windows Embedded CE 6.0
SYMPTOMS
When you use some transport protocols or some Bluetooth profiles on a Microsoft Windows Embedded CE 6.0-based device, you experience one or more of the following symptoms.
Symptom 1
If a Bluetooth device prompts you to enable the option to stream data after the Audio/Video Distribution Transport Protocol (AVDTP) clears the stream time-out, a new stream time-out is created. In this situation, a stream may stop incorrectly when the time-out expires.
Symptom 2
The AVDTP incorrectly creates two streams. However, only one stream is required. If this problem occurs, the incorrect stream may be referenced when a request is sent from a remote device.
Symptom 3
Consider the following scenario:
- A stream on the Advanced Audio Distribution Profile (A2DP) layer is active.
- A discovery request or a getcapability request is received.
- A close request is received.
- A setconfig request is received.
In this scenario, the setconfig request may not be passed to the A2DP layer as expected.
Symptom 4
The AVDTP incorrectly closes the A2DP connection signaling channel when a peer device closes the A2DP data channel.
Note If the peer device closes the A2DP data channel instead of suspending the channel, the signaling channel remains open. This is true in the latest version of the A2DP, of the Audio/Video Remote Control Profile (AVRCP), and of the Hands Free Profile (HFP).
Symptom 5
A connection to a remote Windows CE 6.0-based device that uses the AVRCP does not work correctly. When this problem occurs, the Windows CE 6.0-based device cannot connect to any devices until you restart the Windows CE operating system.
Symptom 6
The Audio/Video Control Transport Protocol (AVCTP) rejects a configuration that includes flow control options.
Note Although the stack does not support Quality of Service (QOS) flow control options, all the layers except the AVCTP layer can accept a configuration that includes flow control options.
Symptom 7
The AVCTP does not notify user-mode layers of Bluetooth stack events.
Symptom 8
The AVCTP does not use encryption or authentication when the AVCTP requests an outgoing connection.
