SYMPTOMS

Consider the following scenario. You install the Language Interface Pack (LIP) on a Windows Vista-based computer. This computer has both the Spanish language pack and the French language pack installed. However, "La meva llengua es el Catala" is listed two times as the language selection on the first page of Out Of Box Experience (OOBE) Wizard. In this scenario, you expect the following languages to be listed:

La meva llengua es el Catala (Espanyol)
La meva llengua es el Catala (Frances)


RESOLUTION

To apply this hotfix

To apply this hotfix, you must use the files that are included in this update to update the Windows installation source files. For information about how to do this, see the documentation for the OEM preinstall kit (OPK).
