APPLIES TO

  • Microsoft Dynamics CRM 3.0

The hotfix that is discussed in this article is not available for the Chinese version of Microsoft Dynamics CRM or for the Japanese version of Microsoft Dynamics CRM.

SYMPTOMS

Consider the following scenario in Microsoft Dynamics CRM 3.0:

  • In the Reparent list for the relationship between a parent entity and a child entity, you click Cascade None. This changes the cascade behavior of the relationship. For example, you click Cascade None in the Reparent list for the account entity and for the opportunity entity.
  • You create a parent record. For example, you create an account.
  • Another user creates some child entity records. For example, the user creates some opportunity records.
  • You view the record for the parent entity that you create.

In this scenario, you can unexpectedly view the child entity records that were created by the other user.
