- Microsoft Windows CE 5.0
SYMPTOMS
On a Microsoft Windows CE 5.0-based device, you use the Infrared Data Association (IrDA) infrared communications protocol to connect to a remote device. When you do this, the Windows CE 5.0-based device may stop responding.
CAUSE
During the IrDA connection, the remote device may send a Disconnected Mode (DM) response to a Set Normal Response Mode (SNRM) command from the Windows CE 5.0-based device. If the remote device does this, the Winsock connect function locks automatically.
