APPLIES TO
- Microsoft Dynamics CRM 3.0
The hotfix that is discussed in this article is not available for the Chinese version of Microsoft Dynamics CRM or for the Japanese version of Microsoft Dynamics CRM.
SYMPTOMS
Consider the following scenario: In Microsoft Dynamics CRM 3.0, you forward an e-mail message to the Microsoft Dynamics CRM-Exchange E-Mail Router mailbox. The message contains an .eml file attachment. In this scenario, the Router cannot resolve the attachment. Additionally, if the attachment is created as an activity in Microsoft Dynamics CRM 3.0, the attachment is not included in the e-mail activity as expected.
CAUSE
This problem occurs because the Router considers the .eml file attachment as another e-mail message instead of as an attachment.
