SYMPTOMS

You log on to Microsoft Office Communications Server 2007 or to Microsoft Office Live Communications Server 2005 by using Communicator Web Access. The presence status is set to "Online." When you minimize the Communicator Web Access window, the presence status changes to "Inactive" and then changes to "Away."

CAUSE

This behavior occurs because Communicator Web Access cannot detect your status when the Communicator Web Access window does not have the focus.

STATUS

This behavior is by design.
