Microsoft has released a service pack for Microsoft Office SharePoint Designer 2007. INTRODUCTION
Microsoft Office SharePoint Designer 2007 Service Pack 1 (SP1) contains significant security improvements, stability improvements, and performance improvements. Some fixes that are included with SharePoint Designer 2007 SP1 were previously released in separate updates. SharePoint Designer 2007 SP1 combines the previously released fixes into one update.

Issues that the service pack fixes
SharePoint Designer 2007 SP1 fixes the following issue that was not previously documented in the Microsoft Knowledge Base.
You cannot update a field in SharePoint Designer 2007 when the date format of a Web site is set to DD/MM/YY
Consider the following scenario. The date format of a Web site is set to DD/MM/YY in SharePoint Designer 2007. Additionally, there is a date field in the DataFormWebPart row. In this scenario, you cannot update other fields in the DataFormWebPart row. If the day of the month is the twelfth or before the twelfth, an incorrect date is saved to the database. If the day of the month is after the twelfth, you receive an error message.

Removal information
You cannot use the Add or Remove Programs item in Control Panel to remove this service pack. To remove SharePoint Designer 2007 SP1 from the computer, you must remove SharePoint Designer 2007. Then, reinstall SharePoint Designer 2007 by using the original SharePoint Designer 2007 CD. - Start Search Companion. To do this, click Start, and then click Search.

- In the Search Results window, click All files and folders in the Search Companion pane.

- In the list of files, right-click the file that is found, and then click Properties.
