SUMMARY
Microsoft has released Microsoft Office Visio 2007 Service Pack 1 (SP1) and Microsoft Office Visio Language Pack 2007 SP1. This article contains a list of issues that are fixed by the service packs and information about how to obtain the service packs. Additionally, this article contains information about how to determine whether the service packs are installed.
INTRODUCTION
Visio 2007 SP1 and Visio Language Pack 2007 SP1 contain security improvements, stability improvements, and performance improvements. Some fixes that are included with these service packs were previously released in separate updates. Visio 2007 SP1 and Visio Language Pack 2007 SP1 combine these previously released fixes into one update.

These service packs fix the following issues that were not previously documented in a Microsoft Knowledge Base article:
- The size and the DPI of graphic data may change when you insert graphic data into a Visio 2007 file
When you insert graphic data into a master shape in Visio 2007, the size and the dots per inch (DPI) of the graphic data differ from the size and DPI in Visio 2003. - Some fonts in a Visio 2007 file are missing
Some fonts in a Visio 2007 file are missing in the PostScript output when one of the following conditions is true:- You use a PostScript printer to print a Visio 2007 file.
- You use a PostScript printer driver to convert a Visio 2007 file to a PDF file.
- The Organization Chart Wizard in Visio 2007 does not display all the entries from a small Exchange Server Directory
When you use the Organization Chart Wizard in Visio 2007 to display entries for selected fields from a small Exchange Server Directory, some entries are not displayed in the organization chart that is created. - Some data connectivity features are missing when you use Visio Drawing Control in a host application
When you use Visio Drawing Control in a host application, some data connectivity features are missing from Visio Drawing Control. You experience this issue when you are using any of the following configurations:- A custom installation of Visio 2007.
- A clean installation of Visio 2007 in which you use Visio Drawing Control in a host application before you start Visio 2007.
- A Visio 2007 installation in which you use third-party add-ins and in which you set the path of add-ins in the Add-ons and Start-up fields in the File Paths dialog box.
- The Refresh Data feature does not work for template files in the Korean version of Visio 2007
When you try to use the Refresh Data feature for the template files in the Korean version of Visio 2007, the feature does not work. Additionally, you receive an error message. - Visio 2007 closes unexpectedly when you programmatically set the SRC property of the Visio Drawing Control and then add a new page
You programmatically set the value for the sample rate conversion (SRC) property in a Visio Drawing Control. 942101 You receive an error message when you try to apply any of the 2007 Office Service Pack 1 packages on a computer that is running Windows XP Service Pack 2
942995 You are prompted unexpectedly to restart the computer after you install a 2007 Office service pack or a 2007 Office update
Removal information
You cannot remove this service pack. If you want to remove either of the service packs in this article, you must remove Visio 2007 or Visio Language Pack 2007. Then, you must reinstall Visio 2007 or Visio Language Pack 2007 from your original Visio 2007 and Visio Language Pack 2007 CD.
