The hotfix that is discussed in this article is not available for the Chinese version of Microsoft Dynamics CRM or for the Japanese version of Microsoft Dynamics CRM.
SYMPTOMS
In Microsoft Dynamics CRM 3.0, consider the following scenario:
- You run the Account Summary Report for an account.
- In the Report Viewer: Account Summary dialog box, you click Last 7 Days in the Date field.
- In the Report Viewer: Account Summary dialog box, you click View Report.
In this scenario, unexpected activities are displayed in the Account Summary Report. This problem occurs even if the date between the start date and the due date of these activities is not within the last seven days.
RESOLUTION
Hotfix information
A supported hotfix is now available from Microsoft. However, it is intended to correct only the problem that is described in this article. Apply it only to systems that are experiencing this specific problem. This hotfix may receive additional testing. Therefore, if you are not severely affected by this problem, we recommend that you wait for the next Microsoft Dynamics CRM 3.0 service pack that contains this hotfix.

Installation information
Install this hotfix on computers that are running Microsoft Dynamics CRM 3.0 server software or the Microsoft Dynamics CRM 3.0 client for Microsoft Office Outlook.
Important When you install this hotfix, you must delete the temporary Internet files in Windows Internet Explorer for the hotfix to take effect.

If you are prompted, restart the computer after you install the hotfix.
Removal information
To remove this hotfix from a computer that is running Microsoft Windows Server 2003, Windows XP, or Windows 2000, use Add or Remove Programs in Control Panel.
