SUMMARY

Microsoft has released the Microsoft Internet Security and Acceleration (ISA) Server 2006 hotfix package that is dated March 30, 2006. This article describes the following aspects of the hotfix package:

Issues that the hotfix package fixes

The hotfix package fixes the issues that are described in the following Microsoft Knowledge Base articles:

  • 934583 ISA Server 2006 cannot delegate authentication to a back-end server from a published Web server

  • 934410 Disruption of service to all remote sites and high CPU utilization by Lsass.exe and Netsh.exe processes in IPsec tunnel mode site-to-site VPN scenario in ISA Server 2006

A supported hotfix is now available from Microsoft. However, it is intended to correct only the problem that is described in this article. Restart requirement

You do not have to restart the computer after you apply this hotfix. However, ISA Server 2006-related services are automatically restarted when you apply this hotfix.
