SYMPTOMS
Consider the following scenario:
- You are using the Portuguese version of Microsoft Dynamics CRM 3.0.
- You search for articles by using the Key Words option.
- You use the Use Like Words option in the Knowledge Base Search feature in Advanced Search.
In this scenario, nothing is returned in the search results.
CAUSE
This problem may occur if the following conditions are true:
- The Full-Text Indexing feature for the Microsoft Dynamics CRM database is enabled in Microsoft SQL Server 2005.
- The stemmers for SQL Server 2005 are installed, and the word breakers for SQL Server 2005 are installed.
- The stemmers and the word breakers are not registered. Or, the stemmers and the word breakers are registered incorrectly.
RESOLUTION
To resolve this problem, manually register the Portuguese (Brazilian) word breaker. For more information about how to manually register the word breaker, click the following article number to view the article in the Microsoft Knowledge Base:
