SYMPTOMS
When you try to install or deploy Microsoft Antigen Enterprise Manager or Sybari Enterprise Manager in a clustered environment, the following error message is logged in the Application event log:
CAUSE
This behavior occurs because the Microsoft Antigen Enterprise Manager or the Sybari Enterprise Manager is not supported in clustered environments. The AntigenStatisticsService error is related to the Sybari Enterprise Manager and the Antigen Enterprise Manager. For example, the AntigenStatisticsService is needed only if you are using the Sybari Enterprise Manager or the Antigen Enterprise Manager. If you are not running this product, these entries in the event log can be ignored.
WORKAROUND
If you want to completely stop the entries, open the registry. Locate and then click the HKLM/Software/Sybari Software
registry key. The value of TraceEventLog is set to 1. Change this to 0, and then restart AntigenStatisticsService.
STATUS
This behavior is by design.
