SYMPTOMS

When you enter text by using the on-screen keyboard of an Xbox 360 console that you are using as a Media Center Extender, the text appears to be correct on the on-screen keyboard. However, the text does not appear to be correct in the Media Center user interface.

CAUSE

The behavior can occur if the language and region settings were changed on the Media Center computer after the Media Center Extender was added or if the language and regional settings were not set correctly when the Extender was added.

    • ==== On the Windows Vista-based Media Center computer ====
      1. Start Windows Media Center.
