INTRODUCTION
This article describes how to change the archive location for Desktop Standard GPOVault Enterprise.

By default, the following location is the archive location for GPOVault Enterprise:
%AllUsersProfile%\Application Data\DesktopStandard\GPOVault\Archive
To change the archive location for GPOVault Enterprise, create a specific string value on the computer that is running GPOVault Enterprise. To create the specific string value, follow these steps:
- Start Registry Editor.
- Expand the following registry subkey:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\DesktopStandard\GPOVault
- Right-click GPOVault, point to New, and then click String Value.
- In the Name column, replace New Value #1 with ArchivePath, and then press ENTER.
- Right-click ArchivePath, and then click Modify.
- In the Value data box, type the location of the new archive folder, and then click OK.
For example, type C:\GPOVault. - Exit Registry Editor.
- Restart the GPOVault service.
The GPOVault Enterprise service account must have full access to the new archive folder. However, the end-users do not have to have access to this folder. For more information, see the GPOVault user's guide. To obtain this user's guide, visit the following Desktop Standard Web site:
