SYMPTOMS

When you try to install or to upgrade Microsoft SoftGrid, the program does not respond and you receive the following error message:

The Installation Program encountered an error when attempting to execute a database statement. Cannot resolve collation conflict for equal to operation.

This problem can occur when the value in the Language for non-Unicode programs list is set to a language other then English (United States) on the database server.

This problem has been corrected in version 4.1.0.56 of SoftGrid Virtual Application Server.
