SYMPTOMS

When you try to sign up for online services in Microsoft Office Accounting Express, you may receive the following error message:

There was a problem receiving your eBay credentials. Click Close and try again.

CAUSE

This problem may occur if you have a special character such as an exclamation point (!), a dollar sign ($), or an ampersand (%) in your eBay user ID.

RESOLUTION

To resolve this problem, remove the special character from your eBay user ID, and then perform the process to sign up for online services.

STATUS
