SYMPTOMS
Multi-day appointments that have occurred in the past still appear on the Microsoft Windows Mobile 5.0 Today screen.
CAUSE
This problem occurs because Windows Mobile 5.0 does not handle the end date of a multi-day appointment correctly.
STATUS
Microsoft has confirmed that this is a bug in the Microsoft products that are listed in the "Applies to" section.

Steps to reproduce the problem
- Tap Start, tap Settings, and then tap Today.
- Tap the Items tab.
- Tap to select the Calendar check box, and then tap OK.
You can see your appointments on the Today screen. - Tap Start, tap Calendar, tap Menu, and then tap New Appointment. Enter the following data for the appointment, and then tap OK:
Subject: First item
Starts: 11/16/07 5:30 PM
Ends: 11/17/07 8:30 AM - Set the date and time of the mobile device to November 17, 5:00 PM, by following these steps:
- On the Today screen, tap the current day, and then tap the Time tab.
- Type 5:00 PM for the clock setting, and then type 11/17/2007 for the date setting.
- Tap OK.
Although the appointment occurred in the past, it appears on the Today screen.
