SYMPTOMS
After you listen to an audio file from the Inbox, immediately sync your device together with the Zune software, and then disconnect the Zune device, you are returned to the Home screen and receive the following error message:
CAUSE
This behavior occurs if any one of the following conditions is true:
- You already played the audio file three times.
- Three days have passed since you received the file in the Inbox from another Zune device.
THINGS TO TRY
- This error message does not relate to the content that you synchronized. The error message relates to the expired content that you played before you synchronized the device. However, the error message does not appear until you are returned to the Home screen.
MORE INFORMATION
The Zune device lets you sample audio files that you receive from another Zune device up to three times in three days. After you play the audio file three times or after three days have passed since you received the file, you can no longer play the audio file.
