The hotfix that is discussed in this article is not available for the Chinese version of Microsoft Dynamics CRM or for the Japanese version of Microsoft Dynamics CRM.
SYMPTOMS
When you click Go Offline on the Microsoft Dynamics CRM toolbar in the Microsoft Dynamics CRM laptop client for Microsoft Office Outlook, Microsoft Office Outlook exits unexpectedly. Additionally, you receive the following error message:
When you view the data in the error report, the report contains an error signature that resembles the following error signature:

Additionally, the following error message is logged in the Application log:
Note This problem occurs on computers on which Windows Internet Explorer 7 is installed.
CAUSE
This problem occurs if you click one of the Microsoft Dynamics CRM folders in the Microsoft Dynamics CRM laptop client for Outlook before you click Go Offline. For example, you click the Account folder before you click Go Offline.
This problem does not occur if you click one of the Microsoft Exchange Server folders.
RESOLUTION
This problem is fixed in Microsoft Dynamics CRM 3.0 Update Rollup 2.
