Error message when you install ProClarity Dashboard Server: "Page not found"

SYMPTOMS

When you install ProClarity Dashboard Server 5.3 or ProClarity Dashboard Server 6.0, you receive the following error message:

Page not found.

The problem occurs if the ProClarity Dashboard Server Setup program uses an instance of Microsoft SQL Server.

CAUSE

The problem occurs because the server name is incorrect in the Global.asa file for the instance of SQL Server. The server name does not include the name of the instance of SQL Server.

RESOLUTION

To resolve this problem, use the following name as the server name in the Global.asa file:

ServerName\SQLInstanceName

Notes

• The ServerName placeholder represents the actual server name.
• The SQLInstanceName placeholder represents the actual name of the instance of SQL Server.
