INTRODUCTION

This article describes how to add a port number that has more than four digits to the proxy port settings in Microsoft Antigen.

Note This article applies to Antigen on Microsoft Exchange Server 5.5, on Microsoft Exchange 2000 Server, and on Microsoft Exchange Server 2003 only.

To add a port number that has more than four digits in the proxy port settings, configure the ProxyPort registry entry. To do this, follow these steps:

  1. Click Start, click Run, type regedit, and then click OK.
  2. Locate and then click the following registry subkey:

    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Sybari Software\Antigen for Exchange

  3. Double-click ProxyPort.
  4. In the Value data box, type the port number that you want to add. Then, under Base, click Decimal, and then click OK.
  5. Close Registry Editor.
  6. Click Start, click Run, type services.msc, and then click OK.
  7. Right-click AntigenService, and then click Restart.
