SYMPTOMS
Consider the following scenario. You start Microsoft Office Outlook 2007. In Microsoft Windows, you add an Input Method Editor (IME) for an East Asian language, such as Japanese or Korean, in the Regional and Language Options Control Panel item. Then, you create a new e-mail message in Outlook 2007. In this scenario, the new IME is not available in the e-mail message.
CAUSE
This issue occurs because Outlook 2007 does not check to see whether a new IME has been added for a language when Outlook 2007 is running. Outlook 2007 only checks for a new IME when you start Outlook 2007.
WORKAROUND
To work around this issue, exit Outlook 2007. Then, restart Outlook 2007.
