SYMPTOMS

When you try to submit an order in Microsoft Dynamics CRM 3.0 by using Microsoft CRM Integration for Great Plains, you receive the following error message:

The Order submission/update failed. Please try again later or contact your system administrator for details.

CAUSE

This problem occurs if the date on the computer is in the format dd/mm/yy. For example, July 25, 2006, may be formatted as 25/07/06 on the computer.

RESOLUTION

If you are prompted, restart the computer after you install the hotfix.

Removal information

To remove this hotfix from a computer that is running Microsoft Windows Server 2003, Microsoft Windows XP, or Microsoft Windows 2000, use Add or Remove Programs in Control Panel. System administrators can use the Spunist.exe utility to remove this hotfix from a computer that is running Windows Server 2003, Windows XP, or Windows 2000.

The Spuninst.exe tool is located in the %Windir%\$NTUninstallKB$\Spuninst folder.
