SYMPTOMS

In Microsoft BizTalk Server 2004, you manually fail over a BizTalk Message Queuing (MSMQT) receive port from one server to a second server. When a message is received, the MSMQT receive adapter on the second server sends a BAD_DESTINATION_NACK negative acknowledgement.

Additionally, the Microsoft Message Queuing client drops the message. If journalizing is enabled on the client, the message is moved to a dead-letter queue, or the message disappears.
