SYMPTOMS
When you try to print a document in Microsoft Virtual PC for Mac Version 7, the document may not print as expected.
CAUSE
This issue may occur if the following conditions are true:
- The VM Additions Printer is selected as the default printer in the Virtual PC for Mac Version 7 virtual machine.
- The default printer in Mac OS X is offline.
RESOLUTION
To resolve this issue, change the default printer in Mac OS X to a printer that is online. To change the default printer in Mac OS X, follow these steps:
- On the Apple menu, click System Preferences, click Print & Fax, and then click Printing.
- In the Selected printer in Print Dialog list, click the printer that you want to set as the default printer.
Note If you want to add a printer, click Set Up Printers.
- Close the Print & Fax window.
