The hotfix that is discussed in this article is unavailable for the Chinese version of Microsoft Dynamics CRM or for the Japanese version of Microsoft Dynamics CRM.

SYMPTOMS

When you send an e-mail message in Microsoft Office Outlook, the e-mail message is incorrectly associated with a marketing campaign in Microsoft Dynamics CRM 3.0. Additionally, the e-mail message is tracked in Microsoft Dynamics CRM 3.0. This problem occurs if the following conditions are true:

  • You create a marketing campaign that is associated with a marketing list.
  • You use the E-mail via Mail Merge feature to distribute a campaign activity to the members in the marketing list.


RESOLUTION
