SYMPTOMS
You cannot query the Win32_PerfRawData_W3Proxy_ISAServerWebProxy performance counter by using Windows Management Instrumentation (WMI).
Additionally, the event log contains events that resemble the following. These events indicate that errors occured during the installation of a performance counter.
Event Type: Warning Event Source: WinMgmt Event Category: None Event ID: Date:Time: User: N/A Computer: Computer_name Description: WMI ADAP was unable to create the object Win32_PerfRawData_W3PCache_ISAServerCache for Performance Library W3PCache because property ISAServerCache already exists For more information, see Help and Support Center at http://support.microsoft.com.

CAUSE
This problem may occur after you install Microsoft Internet Security and Acceleration (ISA) Server 2004 Service Pack 2 (SP2).
RESOLUTION
To resolve this problem, install the hotfixes that are included in following Microsoft Knowledge Base articles. For more information about how to obtain and install these hotfixes, click the following article numbers to view the articles in the Microsoft Knowledge Base:

After you install these hotfixes, type the following commands at the command prompt. Press ENTER after each command.
- wmiadap /c
- wmiadap /f
