SYMPTOMS
If you try to use Japanese_Unicode_CI_AS as a collation for the instance of Microsoft SQL Server 2005 Analysis Services, the Analysis Services service does not start.

Steps to reproduce the problem
- Open the Msmdsrv.ini file that is located in the following folder:
%ProgramFiles%\Microsoft SQL Server\MSSQL.x\OLAP\Config
- Change the <CollationName>Latin1_General_CI_AS</CollationName> tag to <CollationName>Japanese_Unicode_CI_AS</CollationName>.
- Start the Analysis Services service.
