Groove messages and workspaces may not be delivered to all online instances of an account if the account was previously used on multiple computers in Groove Workspace 2.0

SYMPTOMS

If an account was previously used on multiple computers in Groove Workspace 2.0, Groove messages may not be delivered to all online instances of that account. Additionally, workspaces that are created by a Groove account on one computer may not be available from all computers that are running that account.

RESOLUTION

To resolve this problem, follow these steps:

  1. Upgrade Groove to the current version.
  2. Delete the account from all except one computer.
  3. Export the account from the computer that still contains the account. Then, re-import the account to the other computer.

    Note If you have more than one other computer, export the account before every time that you re-import the account.
  4. Fetch all workspaces to all computers that are running the account.

    Note Other computers may have workspaces that do not exist on the computer on which the account will remain. Make sure that you can restore those workspaces. To do this, use one of the following methods:
