SYMPTOMS
Consider the following scenario. You run an application on a Microsoft Windows CE 5.0-based device. The application reads a large file, or the application writes a large file. For example, the application uses the digital video recorder (DVR) engine to record an MPEG-2 stream. In this scenario, you may experience high CPU usage in the FAT file system.

Restart requirement
After you install this update, you must perform a clean build of the whole platform. To clean the platform, click Clean on the Build menu. To build the platform, click Build Platform on the Build menu. You do not have to restart the computer after you apply this update.
