SYMPTOMS
When you try to import a Groove account on a new computer, you receive the following error message:
CAUSE
This problem occurs because Groove does not accept account data that is more than 60 days old.
RESOLUTION
To resolve this problem, create a new Groove account file on the original computer by using the Multiple Computers option.
MORE INFORMATION
In the initial release of Microsoft Office Groove 2007 and in earlier versions of Groove, account data is valid only for 60 days whether it is transferred to groove.net by using the multiple computers function, manually saved as a file, or saved by automated company backup. Older accounts are difficult to reconcile with the identifying data of the Groove Relay and of Groove contacts. For Groove 2007, you can remove this restriction by applying hotfix 935874.
