This article describes how to configure the keyboard for Canadian French layout in Microsoft Windows XP.

To configure the keyboard for Canadian French layout in Windows XP, follow these steps:
- Click Start, click Run, type intl.cpl, and then click OK.
- On the Languages tab, click Details.
- On the Settings tab under Installed services, click English (United States), and then click Add.
- In Input language, select French (Canada). Then, under Keyboard layout/IME, select Canadian French.
- Click OK.
- Click Apply.
You can see EN English (US) and FR French (Canada) under Installed services.
- Click OK two times.
- To change to the French (Canada) keyboard, click EN in the taskbar, and then click FR French (Canada).
