SYMPTOMS
Consider the following scenario. You visit a Web page by using Microsoft Internet Explorer on a device that is running Microsoft Windows CE .NET 4.2. The Web page does not contain a DOCTYPE definition. The Web page contains one or more XML processing instructions. In this scenario, Internet Explorer may unexpectedly close (crash).

Restart requirement
After you install this update, you must perform a clean build of the whole platform. To clean the platform, click Clean on the Build menu. To build the platform, click Build Platform on the Build menu. You do not have to restart the computer after you apply this update.
