This article describes how to find saved games, screenshots, settings, and other data for Microsoft Halo: Combat Evolved and for Halo 2 for Windows Vista.

Halo: Combat Evolved

Halo: Combat Evolved and Halo 2 for Windows Vista save information in the My Documents folder that is created for each user account in Microsoft Windows. To open the My Documents folder, follow these steps.

Microsoft Windows XP

1. Click Start, and then click My Documents.
2. In the My Documents window, double-click My Games.
3. In the My Games window, double-click Halo to find all the information that is related to the game.

Windows Vista

1. Click Start , click Documents, double-click My Games.
2. In the My Games window, double-click Halo 2 to find all the information that is related to the game.

Note If you want to transfer saved Halo: Combat Evolved content to a new computer, make sure that you use the same version of the game or a later version of the game on the new computer.
