SYMPTOMS
When you delete the contents of a SharePoint folder, such as a SharePoint list, in Microsoft Office Outlook, the contents of the folder are not moved to the Recycle Bin on the Web site. The SharePoint folder can be hosted in one of the following SharePoint Web sites:
- A Microsoft Windows SharePoint Services 2.0 Web site
- A Microsoft Windows SharePoint Services 3.0 Web site
- A Microsoft SharePoint Portal Server 2003 Web site
- A Microsoft Office SharePoint Server 2007 Web site
RESOLUTION
To resolve this issue, synchronize the contents of the folder on the SharePoint Web site in Outlook 2007 before you delete the contents of the folder.
