If you are experienced in the area of deployment, some of the challenges will be familiar. However, there are many new technologies in Framework applications and several considerations that are unique to deploying them.
This guide describes the experiences of both Microsoft and external consultants in the relevant field to give you some of the best information that is available about effective Framework application deployment. This guide provides information about how to deploy all types of Framework applications by using a variety of mechanisms, including no-touch deployment, and Microsoft Windows Installer package deployment.
This guide discusses the deployment lifecycle from planning applications through to maintaining applications. It also describes how applications that are built on different versions of the Framework can exist in side-by-side installations.
