SYMPTOMS

When you try to install the Microsoft Developer Network (MSDN) library, the library installation may fail. When this occurs, you may receive the following message:

Install the Visual Studio 2005 CD-ROM

WORKAROUND

To work around this problem, follow these steps:

1. Copy the contents of the MSDN library to the local hard disk drive.
2. Double-click the Autorun.exe file to start the MSDN library installation from the local hard disk drive.
