The hotfix that is discussed in this article is not available for the Chinese version of Microsoft Dynamics CRM or for the Japanese version of Microsoft Dynamics CRM.

SYMPTOMS

When you use the "Export to an Excel worksheet" feature in Microsoft Dynamics CRM 3.0, the results of the export are not filtered by marketing list members. This problem occurs if you select either the Dynamic PivotTable option or the Dynamic worksheet option in the Export Data to Excel dialog box. For example, all accounts, contacts, or leads are unexpectedly exported.

CAUSE

The Microsoft Dynamics CRM 3.0 view that is used for dynamic exports to Microsoft Office Excel does not include a filter for the current marketing list.

RESOLUTION

Microsoft has confirmed that this is a problem in the Microsoft products that are listed in the "Applies to" section. This problem was corrected in Microsoft Dynamics CRM 3.0 Update Rollup 1 and in Update Rollup 1 for Microsoft Dynamics CRM 3.0 Professional Edition for Service Providers.
