The PreUpdate callout event does not run after you make a change to an appointment in Microsoft Dynamics CRM

The hotfix that is discussed in this article is not available for the Chinese version of Microsoft Dynamics CRM or for the Japanese version of Microsoft Dynamics CRM.


SYMPTOMS

You use the Callout.Config.Xml file to subscribe programmatically to the PreUpdate callout event for an appointment entity in Microsoft Dynamics CRM. You then make some changes to an existing appointment in the Workplace module or in the Service Calendar module. If you make a change to any one of the following fields, the PreUpdate callout event does not run as expected:

  • Show Time As
  • Start Time
  • End Time
  • Duration


RESOLUTION
